Kyoto Station

Kyoto Station（京都駅） is the gateway to Kyoto and the starting point for all tourist attractions in Kyoto.

Bus stops are clearly marked with the destination tourist attractions. Cab stands are divided into general cab stands and priority cab stands (for large luggage, baby strollers, wheelchairs, pregnant women, and foreigners).

Facilities and stores include a free general tourist information center (Kyo-Navi), restaurants, department stores, hotels, theaters, museums, and electronics stores.

The grand staircase of the Kyoto Station Building has 171 steps, and a huge Christmas tree will be decorated in December Muromachi Koji Plaza. From the free aerial route (Skyway), you can see Kyoto Tower, “kiyomizudera Temple, and other tourist attractions.
