Daiunin
Daiunin（大雲院） is usually private.Only special openings or advance reservations are allowed.In addition to the monument to Oda Nobunaga and Nobutada, there is the grave of Ishikawa Goemon.
Ishikawa Goemon was a bandit of the Azuchi-Momoyama period (ca. 1594).He was captured in Bunroku 3 and roasted to death along with one of his children at Sanjo-kawara, Kyoto.
Gionkaku was built in the shape of the Gion Festival floats, from which one can enjoy a panoramic view of Kyoto City.
Gionkaku was built to create a new bronze pavilion, as Kinkakuji Temple has a Golden Pavilion and Ginkakuji Temple has a Silver Pavilion.
