About the Rakusai Area

Rakusai is the west area of Kyoto City.Arashiyama is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kyoto, known for its cherry blossoms and autumn foliage.

The Arashiyama area has popular tourist spots such as the World Heritage Tenryuji Temple, bamboo groves, Arashiyama Monkey Park, and the Sagano Trolley Train.

On August 15 of the lunar calendar, Kangetsu no Yuube is held at Osawa Pond in Daikakuji Temple to enjoy the harvest moon in the middle of autumn.
