Gion – Teramachi Dori Course

The Gion – Teramachi Dori Course takes you from Yasaka Shrine, famous for the Gion Festival, to the downtown area where you can enjoy shopping and dining.

The red line on the map is a distance of about 4 km (about 2.48 miles) and a walk of about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

In Gion, you may see geiko and maiko, but taking img-responsiveures, talking to them, or touching them is prohibited.

Taking img-responsiveures, littering trash, eating, and other nuisances are prohibited on private roads in the Gion Hanamikoji area.
