Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine(錦天満宮) offers blessings for wisdom, business acumen, learning, good fortune, and protection against misfortune. Locals call it “Nishiki no Tenjin-san” and it is well known.
The torii gate of Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine is strikingly stuck into the building. The precincts of the shrine are home to a karakuri omikuji and a img-responsiveure-story robot.
Nishiki water (gojinsui) is famous water that springs from more than 30 meters below the ground and can be taken home freely. In front of Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine, Nishiki Market, the kitchen of Kyoto, continues.
