Yasui Konpiragu Shrine（安井金比羅宮） offers blessings for “Enkiri (divorce) and Enmusubi (marriage),” “Maritime safety,” and “Traffic safety.It is popularly known as “Yasui no Kompira-san.
Yasui Konpiragu Shrine is popular among women as a shrine for breaking off marriages and for bringing good luck.
The “Kusi Festival” is held on the fourth Monday of September every year to offer offerings to old combs.People with various hairstyles from ancient times to the present day parade through Hanamikoji from below the stone steps in Gion.
Access from Kyoto Station to Yasui Kinpira-gu Shrine is by bus, which takes about 13 minutes.
