Love and Marriage Course

The Love and Marriage Course is a tour of shrines that are beneficial for love and marriage.

The red line on the map is a distance of about 2.75 km (about 1.70 miles), about a 55-minute walk + Keihan train ride (about 6 minutes).

There is no admission fee to Jishu Shrine, but there is a fee to visit Kiyomizudera Temple.Within the precincts of Yasaka Shrine is Okuninushi Shrine, which enshrines Okuninushi, known as the god of marriage.

Kawai Shrine, located on the grounds of Shimogamo Shrine, has a “Kagami-Ema” that makes you beautiful.Aioi-sha, located within the precincts of Shimogamo Shrine, has a “Renri-no-Sakaki” (two trees merged into one), which is popular as a sacred tree for marriage.
