Garden Viewing Course（West Area）

The Garden Viewing Course (West Area) runs from Tenryuji Temple, where the Shakkei-teien (Borrowed scenery garden) is located, to Ryoanji Temple, famous for its stone garden.

The red line on the map is a distance of about 3.4 km (about 2.11 miles), about 1 hour and 8 minutes on foot + Randen train (about 15 minutes ride).

At Daihoin, which is open to the public in spring and fall, visitors can view the garden while enjoying matcha green tea.
