Anrakuji Temple(安楽寺) was originally founded by Juren Shonin and Anraku Shonin, disciples of Honen Shonin, who built a hermitage in Shikagaya.
The autumn foliage is beautiful, and the Buddhist foot stone can be seen in the precincts of the temple.
Anrakuji Temple is usually closed to the public, but is open to the public on special occasions in spring and fall. Every year on July 25,”Shikagatani Pumpkin Memorial Service,” is held.
