Dashinin

Daishinin(大心院) is the Tatchu (temple on the grounds of a large temple) of Myoshinji Temple.It is said to have been built by Masamoto Hosokawa in 1479.

The “A-Un garden” in the front garden of Shoin is a dry landscape garden with white sand, moss, and stones.A-Un(阿吽) means the beginning and the end of all things.

Dashinin is also a lodging facility, and the general public is welcome to stay there (call to confirm availability and apply by return postcard).
