Kyoto International Manga Museum
The Kyoto International Manga Museum（京都国際マンガミュージアム） is a manga museum built in November 2006 in a renovated elementary school.
There is a wall of manga (about 50,000 manga in about 200 meters), which can be read freely.
There is a storage room with approximately 250,000 volumes of materials, a children’s library dedicated to img-responsiveure books, and a museum store. Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
To get to the Kyoto International Manga Museum from Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto Municipal Subway, which takes about 5 minutes.
