Arashiyama Course

The Arashiyama course starts from Saga-Arashiyama Station, visits tourist spots, and returns to Saga-Arashiyama Station.

The red line on the map is a distance of about 4.2 km (about 2.60 miles) and a walk of about 1 hour and 24 minutes.

It is a good distance for a day trip or a half-day tour of Kyoto, and is recommended for first-time visitors to Kyoto.

If you have time to spare, you can also head to the World Heritage Ninnaji Temple, World Heritage Ryoanji Temple, and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine from Randen Arashiyama Station.
